DWBA to Elect Officers in March The Davie Business Women’s Association will elect new officers at its next meeting, to be held Wednesday, March 1 at the Rotary Hut in Mocksville. The lunch meeting begins at 12:00 noon. Guests and new members are welcome to all DBWA meetings. Attendees may contact Bette Hauser of Savory Spoon (998-3663) for lunch reservations or bring their own. March is also the month when DBWA members renew their memberships. The organization brings together businesswomen of diverse occupations for personal and professional growth through networking, support, and camaraderie. Monthly meetings feature outstanding speakers, including Sylvia McClintick, who spoke at the February meeting on ways to de-clutter, organize and simply all areas of life. In upcoming months, DBWA will partner with the Small Business Center at Davidson Community College for meeting programs, and with the Davie County Chamber of Commerce to host its annual professional women’s luncheon. DBWA supports the community through various service projects and by providing educational scholarships for women. Annual membership dues are $35.
